Knock out artist Andres “The Bullet” Quintana (9-1) is taking his act on the road and will be heading to California to take on Gabriel “Solo” Solorio (11-9) at Tachi Palace Fight 23 on May 7th.
Quintana a member of Luttrell’s MMA, had been expected to compete on March 28th but as we know in the fight game things can change in an instant and that hole event ended up being canceled. Quintana last fought in November defeating Thomas Soto to capture the Triple A MMA Featherweight title. The was “The Bullet’s” 9 in a row; and all thoses wins have come by knock out.
Solorio is a WSOF vet, who will be fighting close to home. Solorio has lost 3 of his last 4 fights including consecutive split decision losses to Sheymon da Silva Moraes and Rodolfo Marques Diniz.
Tachi Palace Fight 23 is on May 7th at the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino in Lemoore, California; and is headlined by Chidi Njokuani challenging Max Griffin for the TPF Welterweight title.
