Bellator 138 adds Lashley vs. Thompson II

The newest addition to June’s Bellator 138 is a rescheduled heavyweight rematch of “The Dominator” Bobby Lashley (12-2) squaring off with James “The Colossus” Thompson (20-14).

Thompson and Lashley collided the first time at Super Fight League 3, in May of 2012, with Thompson claiming a unanimous decision victory. The rematch was originally set for Bellator 134, but was cancelled due to injury.

Since the Loss to Thompson, Lashley has won 5 fights in a row with 4 stoppages; including most recently at Bellator 130 scoring a 1st rd TKO win over Karl Etherington. Lashley is a member of American Top Team who also spends time in the Impact Wrestling, professional wrestling ring.

Englands, Thompson is undefeated in his last 5 fight and is now a 4 fight win streak. Thompson’s last win came via 1st rd TKO over Eric Prindle at Bellator 120; was the 11 knock out win of his career.

Bellator 138 is on June 19th at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis Missouri; and will feature Georgi Karakhanyan challenging Patricio “Pitbull’ Freire for the Bellator Featherweight title.
