Dantas vs. Richman & 2 Others Bouts added to Bellator 137

Eduardo Dantas (16-4) vs. Mike Richman (18-5),which was originally scheduled for Bellator 135, but was removed from that card, due to a Richman injury; has now been rescheduled for Bellator 137.

The Danas vs. Richman winner should find himself as the first contender to Marcos Galvao’s newly won Bellator Bantamweight title. Dantas is a former Bellator Bantamweight champion who lost the title this past October to Joe Warren in a controversial decision. As Bellator Bantamweight champion Dantas twice successfully defend the title against Marcos Galvao (KO) and Anthony Leone (SUB). Richman since moving down to Bantamweight has knocked out Ed West and Nam Phan.

At Light Heavyweight Virgil Zwicker (13-4-1), coming off a split decision win over Houston Alexander, will take on “Razor” Razak Al-Hassan (12-4), who’s going to be fight for the first time since a March 2013, 1st round submission of Tim Chemelli. In contrasting styles Zwicker has 9 knock outs, while Al-Hassan has 8 wins by submission.

Rounding out the 4 fight Spike TV main card will be at Welterweight Fernando “Th Menifee Maniac” Gonzalez (23-13) vs. “Curtious” Curits Millender (7-1). Gonzalez is 3-0 in Bellator defeating Karl Amoussou (UD), Karo Parisyan (TKO), and Marius Zaromskis (UD); while Millender who has 5 wins by decision, in his promotional debut suffered his first career loss tapping out to a Brennan Ward rear naked choke at Bellator 134.

Bellator 137 is on May 15th at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula California; and is headlined by Kendall Grove challenging Brandon Halsey for the Bellator Middleweight Title.
