Yamauchi Out, Sanchez Now Meets Curran at Bellator 139

Goiti Yamauchi will no longer be competing at Bellator 139 and instead former Featherweight champion Pat Curran (20-7) will tangle with Emmanuel “El Matador” Sanchez (10-1).

Curran the 2-time Bellator Featherweight champion, is 1-3 in his last 4 coming off consecutive decision losses to current champion Patricio Freire and number one contender Daniel Weichel.

Sanchez has won 6 in row including defeating Stephen Banaszak (sub) and Alejandro Villalobos (ud) inside the Bellator cage.

Bellator 139 is on June 19th at the Kansas Star Arena in Mulvane, Kansas; and is headlined by French MMA vet Cheick Kongo colliding with former Bellator Heavyweight champion Alexander Volkov.
