August 1st Fire & Ice Fury Hits Grants
Chavez Promotions is taking there show on the road and heading to Grants, New Mexico to Present Fire & Ice Fury on August 1st, at Fire & Ice Park. The event will be headlined by Josh “Pitbull” Torres (14-3-2) defending his WBC US NBC Championship.
Torres is 7-1-1 over the last 3 years with a pair of wins by knockout. At April’s “All or Nothing” event “Pitbull” captured his WBC US NBC title with a 10-round unanimous decision win over world traveler Ranee Ganoy.
The card will also feature Alex Holguin (4-1), Ambrocio Bautista (1-0), and Jose Osorio (3-2-1). All 3 men also last competed at “All or Nothing”. Holguin who will be in the evenings co-main event, won his 3rd in a row with a first round TKO of Mike Turrieta. Bautista made a successful pro debut with a majority decision win over Ricky Villafuerte. Osorio fought 6 hard rounds against Alex Hipolito in what was ruled a draw.
