Due to a stress fracture in her thighbone Bec Rawlings (6-4) has had to withdraw from her scheduled UFC Fight Night 72 clash with fellow TUF alum Joanne Calderwood (9-1).
On 8 days notice stepping up to the opportunity will be XFC and PXC vet Cortney “Cast Iron” Casey (4-1). Casey is on a 3 fight win streak with TKO’s of Tomo Maesawa and Helen Harper, plus having submitted Gina Iniong.
Calderwood has not found her rhythm in the octagon and will be looking to rebound from a 1st round submission loss to Maryna Moroz.
UFC Fight Night 72 takes place on July 18th at SSE Hydro Arena in Glasgow, Scotland; and is headlined by Micheal Bisping vs. Thales Leites.
