The first official Glory Kickboxing bout for September 19th’s Glory/ Bellator 141 “Dynamite” is a rematch between knockout artists Saulo “Cassius Clay” Cavalaria (31-2) & Zack “The Black Warrior” Mwekassa (13-2); but this time the winner will claim the vacant Glory Light Heavyweight World Championship.

Mwekassa – Cavalaria took place 9 months ago in the finals of the Glory 18 Light Heavyweight Contender Tournament, that saw Cavalaria take the knock out with via head kick. At that time the Win earned Brazil’s Cavalaria, who has 19 wins by knock out, a title shot at then Champion Gokhan “The Rebel” Saki. Saki a free agent that has not defended the title in 18 months been able to come to terms on a new contract with Glory, leading the promotion to strip the champion.

Africa’s, Mwekassa has 12 of 13 wins by knock out. Mwekassa has a devastating left hook that put down UFC vet Pat “HD” Barry 1st round of their Glory 16: Denver bout.
