King of the Cage Presents “Grind” August 15th

Embracing the “Grind” is a fundamental part of Mixed Martial Arts. On August 15th King of the Cage will bring the “Grind” to the Sheraton Uptown. The main event will see at Welterweight in his pro debut Judgement MMA’s Anthony Rozema against Colorado’s Andrew “X” Lipp.

Undefeated as an amateur Rozema TKO’ed Matt Gonzales and Austin Wourms, both in the first round; both Andrew Galvan (sub) and Victor Trujillo (tko) were finished in the 2nd round.

Lipp went (4-5sherdog record) as an amateur with first round knock outs of William Smith and Don Westman. Back in June of 2014, at WFC 24, Lipp made his pro debut and suffered a 1st round submission loss to Byron Cragg.

In the co-main event at Lightweight Perez Fighting Systems, Derek “Rage” Perez coming off back to back 1st round wins over Isaiah Reyes (sub) and Joe Salazar (tko) will square off with Fit NHB’s Oliver “The Omaha Kid” Parker, who’s coming off a unanimous decision win over Oscar De La Parra.

Also for the first time as a pro Fit NHB’s Amanda Lovato will step into the KOTC cage.

One of the top amateur feature bouts will see Santa Fe’s Jess Martinez, who’s undefeated and coming off a 1st round knock out of Ruben Arroyo, challenging for the KOTC 155 lbs. amateur championship.
