Munoz vs. Molina August 15th in Montreal
Albuquerque’s Hector “El Huracan” Munoz (23-15-1) on short notice, will be heading to Montreal, Quebec, Canada to take on Mexico’s “King” Carlos Molina (22-6-2), a current resident of Chicago, Illinois, at the Bell Centre on Saturday, August 15th.
Munoz who;s now been training out of Danny Romero’s Hideout, has lost 2 of his last 3 fights, with consecutive decision losses following his 1st round TKO of Fidel Zazueta in June of 2014; which gave Munoz 15 career knockouts. Most recently Munoz was on the losing side of a 10-round majority decision loss to Omar Chavez.
Molina is ranked number 5 in the world by boxrec and number 2 in his native Mexico. Molina is 3-1 in his last 4 with all bouts gong the distance. In his last bout in October Molina lost a 12-round unanimous decision and his IBF title to Cornelius Bundrage.
