Steve Garcia meets Eduardo Bustillos at Bellator 143

A year after his last fight Jackson-Wink Bantamweight Steve “Mean Machine” Garcia (5-0) will  finally be getting back in the cage on September 25th at Bellator 143, against Texas native, the once defeated Eduardo Bustillos (4-1).

Garcia last fought at Bellator 123, taking a split decision from then fellow undefeated prospect Kin Moy. The win ended a streak of 6 straight wins by knockout, which even included a pair of knock outs in the amateurs,  and a Bellator 105 promotional debut 3rd round TKO of fromer Olympic wrestler Shawn Bunch. The “Mean Machine”at Bellator 121, put Cody Walker to sleep with one punch scoring one of 2014 best knock outs.

Bustillos will be making his promotional debut coming off a STFC-33, 2nd round submission loss to Fabian Saldivar. Bustillos has all 4 his wins by stoppage with 3 wins by submission and 3 wins in the 1st round, including his last win in November   of 2014, which is his lone win by TKO, and came over Fabian Rodrigues.

Bellator 143 takes place on September 25th, at the Lone Star Arena in Hidalgo, Texas; and is headlined by Joe Warren vs. LC Davis.
