Tournament Semifinals Match-ups & Josh Thomson’s Debut Announced for “Dynamite”
In the first round of Bellator 142’s 4-man one-night Light Heavyweight Tournament will see Muhammed Lawal (15-3-1) vs. Linton Vassell ( 15-4) & Phil Davis (13-3) vs. Emanuel Newton (25-8-1).
Furthermore Francis Carmont (23-10) will meet Philipe Lins (9-1) in a Tournament alternate bout.
Plus recently signed former Strikeforce champion Josh Thomson (20-8) will look to end a 3 fight skid when he takes on former Legacy Lightweight title holder Mike Bronzoulis (18-8-1), the winner of 3 straight.
The Glory & Bellator 142 super show “Dynamite” is on September 19th at SAP Center in San Jose, California; and in all the event will feature 3 title bouts.
