Blumer has won 6 straight and 8 of 9 coming off a RFA 24, 1st round, backfist knock out of Jeff Curran. Higo is on a 5 fight win streak with 4 of the victories coming by rear naked choke. Higo made his promotional debut at RFA 29 submitting Terrion Ware seconds before the final bell of there 3 round bout was able to sound.
In a battle of the undefeated Chad Curry (7-0), who has never been past the 2nd round and has 5 knockout wins, faces Landon Vannata (6-0), who has 4 first round finishes and 4 submission wins.
Melvin’s brother, Marvin Blumer (11-5), who’s coming off an RFA 24, unanimous decision loss to Darrick Minner, faces Bill Kanery (13-4), who’s won 3 straight, all by submission.
Also awaiting an opponent but expected to be on the card is former RFA Welterweight title holder Benjamin Smith (13-4).
