Curran Injured, Sanchez faces Lawrence at Bellator 145
A quick turn around is what Emmanuel Sanchez (11-2) will have. Coming off a Bellator 143 split decision win over Henry Corrales , “El Matador” will serve as replacement for an injured Pat Curran (21-7) against Justin Lawrence (8-2).
Sanchez a 25 year old member of the Milwaukee, Roufsport camp has won 7 of his last 8 with the lone loss coming via unanimous decision to Pat Curran at Bellator 139. Sanchez has 5 of 6 stoppage wins by way of submission.
Lawrence is a former RFA Featherweight title holder, who’s on a 4 fight win streak. Lawrence made his promotional debut at Bellator 138, with a 1st round TKO of Sean Wilson. A 25 year old nicknamed “The American Kid”, Lawrence recently moved his home base to Arizona’s Power MMA.
Bellator 145 is on November 6th at the Scottrade Center in St Louis, Missouri; featuring the Featherweight & Lightweight titles on the line.
