Jury vs. Oliveira set for UFC on Fox 17
Making a move in weight Myles Jury (15-1) has decided to drop from Lightweight to Featherweight , welcoming Jury to 145lbs. at UFC on Fox 17 will be Charles Oliveira (20-5).
A alum of TUF season 15 Jury won his first 6 UFC bouts including a knock out of Ramsey Nijem and a TKO of Takanori Goni; before suffering a UFC 182 unanimous decision loss to Donald Cerrone.
Oliveira made the same move back in 2012 and is 6-3 at Featherweight. Oliveira is 4-1 in his last 5, with submission wins over Andy Ogle, Hatsu Hioki, and Nik Lent. The 25 year old Brazilian will be looking to bounce back from an Esophagus injury that forced him to quite 1:39 seconds into a UFC Fight Now Night 74, main event bout against Max Holloway.
UFC on Fox 17 will be on December 19th at the Amway Arena in Orlando, Florida; and is headlined by Dobald Cerrone challenging Rafael dos Anjos for the UFC Lightweight World Championship.
