Pair of Welterweight Fights added to UFC 195

January 2nd in Las Vegas, Nevada, will be a big night for the 170 lbs. division especially with the main event seeing Carlos Condit challenging Robbie Lawler for the UFC Welterweight World Championship. The newest addition to UFC 195 are also at Welterweight and feature a pair of bouts seeing fighter with there eyes set on breaking in to the top 10 of the contender rankings.

On a 5 fight win streak, coming off a highlight reel knockout of Jake Ellenberger, Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson (11-1) faces Neil Magny (16-4) who’s won 8 of 9 coming off a split decision win over Erick Silva.

At UFC 192, Albert Tumenov extended his current win streak to 4 with a 1st round TKO of Alan Jouban. For the 23 year ole Russian to make it 5 straight he’ll have to go through Lorenz “The Monsson” Larkin (16-4), who’s 2-0 since dropping to 170 lbs. with TKO’s of John Howard and Santiaho Ponzinibbio.
