An ankle injury has forced Matt Brown (20-13) to withdraw from facing Kelvin Gastelum (11-1) in the main event of UFC Fight Night 78. Stepping up to fill the void will be Neil Magny (16-4), who will be stepping into the octagon for the 5th time in 2016.

Gastelum is 1-1 in 2015, with a split decision loss to Tyron Woodley, in a welterweight bout that Gastelum badly missed weight for, and a 2nd round TKO of Nate Marquardt at Middleweight. Gastelum who has twice in his UFC career missed weight at Welterweight, is again attempting to make 171 lbs. after begging for the opportunity.

Magny has fought 9 times in the last 2 years for the UFC going 8-1. Magny recently has been scheduled to face Stephen Thomson at UFC 195, the UFC is currently searching for a new opponent for Thomson. Magny in August took a split decision win from Erick Silva rebounding froma submission to Demian Maia.

UFC Fight Night 78 is on November 21st, at the Monterrey Arena in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
