Bisping vs. Mousasi Headlines UFC Fight Night 83

The UFC will be returning to England, on February 27th for UFC Fight Night 83 at the O2 in London, and the first 3 bouts fort the event have been announced.

The main event will see the home coming of TUF season 2 winner, the number 8 UFC Middleweight contender Michael “The Count” Bisping (27-7) who’s coming off a split decision win over Thales Leites against former Dream and Strikeforce champion Gegard Mousasi (37-6-2), who’ll be looking to rebound from a TKO loss to Uriah Hall. The loss ended a 2 fight win streak.

At Lightweight coming off a unanimous decision win over Reza, which ended a 2 fight skid, Madadi “Stormin” Norman Parke (21-4-1) faces Rustam “Tiger” Khabilov (17-3) who’ll be looking to rebound from consecutive losses to Benson Henderson (sub) and Adriano Martins (sd).

At Featherweight Finland’s Makwan Amirkhani (12-2) squares off with England’s Mike Wilkinson (9-1). Amirkhani is on a 3 fight win streak and is 2-0 in the UFC with a 8 second TKO of Andy Ogle and a 1st round rear naked choke of Amsio Fullen. Wilkinson is 2-1 in the UFC and last fought in October of 2013 scoring a 1st round knock out of Niklas Backstrom.
