A pair of American Top Team fighters Justin Scoggins and Mirsad Bektic have incurred injuries that will keep them from competing at December 11th’s TUF 22 Finale.
Joby Sanchez (7-1) who’s coming off a split decision win over Tateki Matsuda, was scheduled to face Justin scoggins who’s being replace by Geane Herrera (8-1). Herrera will be looking to rebound from his first career loss, dropping a unanimous decision to Ray Borg.
Tatsuya Kawajiri (34-8-2), who was scheduled to face Bektic will instead tangle with newly signed Jason Knight (13-1). Kawajiri is 7-1 in his last 8,coming off unanimous decision win over Dernnis Siver. Knight is on a 8 fight win streak with 4 of the wins coming via submission.
The TUF 22 finale takes place on December 11th in Las Vegas, Nevada; and is headlined by a battle between top Featherweight contenders Chad “Money” Mendes & Frankie “The Answer” Edgar.
