Silva vs. Bisping Headlines UFC Fight Night London, on Fight Pass

Coming off a year long suspension, former UFC Middleweight World Champion Anderson “The Spider” Silva (33-6-0, 1nc) will return to the Octagon in the main event of UFC Fight Night London against England’s most famous MMA fighter and TUF season 3 winner, Michael “The Count” Bisping (27-7).

In January of 2015 Silva returned to action after having recovered from a gruesome broken leg suffered at UFC 168, when a Silva leg kick was checked y Chris Weidman. At UFC 183 Silva would defeat Nick Diaz via unanimous decision, which was later changed to a no contest after Silva failed the most fight drug screen. “The Spider” won 17 straight fights from April 2006 to July 2013. Silva has 20 of 26 career stoppage wins via knock out.

Bisping for a very long time had been calling out the former champion and will now get his wish. Originally it was announced that Bisping would be facing of with Gegard Mousasi on this card and the staus of Mousasi on this card has been mentioned. “The Count” is 5-4 since 2012, but has won his last 2 fights via decisions over CB Dollaway and Thales Leites. Bisping has 15 of 19 stoppage wins via knock out.

UFC Fight Night 83 “London” is on February 27th at the O2 Arena in London, England.
