Winter War Quick Results


The Sports Complex at 5 points in Albuquerque’s south valley hosted Chavez Promotions “Winter War” headlined by Josh “Pitbull” Torres against Daniel Gonzales.

Josh “Pitbull” Torres is a former WBC title holder, who’s looking to rebound from a decision loss, in August, when he meets Montana’s, Daniel Gonzales who’s 2-1 in his last 3; and has 50 pro fights under belt.

Alfonso Olvera (5-2) def. Michael Gallegos (1-13-1) via (40-36, 40-36, 40-36) unanimous decision
Ronnie Baca (1-0) def. Antonio Sulorzano (0-1) via 2nd Rd TKO
Alex Holguin (6-1) def. Serrano Farley (0-1) via 4th Rd TKO
Josh “Pitbull” Torres def. (15-4-2) def. Daniel Gonzales (12-38-2) via 3rd Rd TKO  


Alfonso Olvera dominated the 1st Rd with a lot of good body shots an ended the 1st Rd   with overhand right.  Alfonso Olvera landed more and took all rounds.

Antonio Sulorzano threw up in second round due to a body shot ending the fight by TKO
Serrano Farley got caught with a left hook and dropped to one knee but got up right away 1
Serrano Farley was knocked down again in the 2nd,up by 8-count
Serrano Farley to one knee in 3rd Rd
Serrano Farley was dropped to a knee twice in the 4th, the 2nd time the fight was stopped
 Main Event 
Rd 1 Josh was landing good body shots and Daniel Gonzales got some good punches in as well
Rd 2 Josh was throwing good combinations both* where
Rd 3 non stop going back and forth throwing blows
Gonzales got caught on ropes fight got called Josh won TKO
