Illness and injury have caused some reshuffling to Invicta FC 15, with Amber Brown (5-1) and Christine Stanley (4-1) receiving new opponents.Illness has forced Lisa Ellis to the sidelines, giving Japan’s Shino Vanhoose (4-3) the opportunity to make make her US debut, against New Mexico Wildbunch’s top contender Amber Brown. Vanhoose is coming off a October submission of Jody Lynn Reicher, while Brown is on a 3 fight win streak and the verge of a title shot.
Injury has sidelined Shannon Sinn, who’s be replaced by Katy “Red Dragon” Collins (3-1) against Christine “Knuckles” Stanley. Collins has all 3 her wins via 1st round TKO, while Stanley has all 4 her wins in the 1st round via TKO/KO.
Invicta FC 15 is on January 16th, at the Hangar at the OC Fair Grounds in Costa Mesa, California; and is headlined by Daria Ibragimova challenging Cristiane “Cyborg” Justine for the Invicta FC Featherweight title.
