Velasquez Injured, Miocic Meets Werdum at UFC196


UFC president Dana White has tweeted that Cain Velasquez has a back injury, and instread Stipe Miocic (14-2) will be challenging Fabricio Werdum (20-5-1) for the UFC Heavyweight Championship of the World at UFC 196.

Miocic a is Ohio native, who’s an athlete with wrestling, boxing, and baseball in his back ground. Winner of 5 of his last 6, and coming off consecutive TKO wins over Mark Hunt and Andrei Arlovski; Miocic has 10 of 11 stoppage wins via form of knockout/

Werdum a member of Kings MMA, who’s a perfect 6-0 in this his 2nd stint with the UFC. In this recent run Werdum has submitted Antonio Rodrgio Nogueira and Cain Velasquez, plus TKO-ed Mark Hunt; and in StrikeForce submitted Fedor Emelianenko.
