Legacy Promotions returns to Albuquerque June 11th with Aztec Warfare

Through a video posted on Facebook, Promoter Eric Martinez, Ring Announcer Dennis “DC” Chavez, The Sanchez Brothers, and the crew down at Perez Boxing, announced that Saturday, June 11th at the Hispanic Culture Center, Legacy Promotions will present “Aztec Warefare”.

Fighting at home for the first time since March of 2013, the events first official bout will see Hector “El Huracan” Munoz, who has 15 wins by knock out against Mexican born, California resident Rogelio Castaneda Jr., who has 8 knock out victories to his credit. Combined these two have over 90 pro boxing matches on record. Munoz is the short notice king, having fought up several weight classes on days notice. This has taken it tole as Munoz, who’s lost 5 straight. Munoz brings a fight every time out and has been a sparring partner to every one from Adrian Broner to Danny Garcia and many more world champions. Castaneda Jr. has lost his last 7 fights, but no opponent has had more then 3 losses on there record.

The 2nd official bout has Perez Boxing’s Jesus Xavier Pachceo against La Habra, California’s Ricardo Garcia. Starting in early 2015, Pacheco caught fire, winning 4 straight decisions over Edgar Brito, Damen Wood, John Herrera, and David Proa, before suffering a majority decision loss to Joshua Greer Jr., this past March in Phoenix. Garcia is 1-1-1 in his last 3 with a unanimous decision win over Misael Chacon, a majority decision loss to Christian Alejandro Silva, and most recently a draw with Yoel Estrada, from this past February.

At this point the card is still coming together an tentatively should also feature on a 6 fight win streak and also scheduled for action on May 14th Alex Holguin. Two of Albuquerque’s top undefeated prospects Agelo Leo who has 4 knocks and Jason Sanchez, who has 3 knock outs are also looking to be matched up. The waiting to be matched up list also consists of Jose Luis Sanchez, who’s coming off a devastating knock out of Ambrocio Bautista and Jose Osorio , who’s unbeaten in his last 3.

There will also be an intermission with entertainment featuring comedian Graviel De La Plaga.
