Holm vs. Shevchenko Officially the main event for UFC on Fox 20
Former woman’s UFC Bantamweight champion Holly Holm(10-1), has has been speculated will be returning to the octagon on July 23rd, in the main event of UFC on Fox 20, against Valentina Shevchenko (12-2).
Holm will be looking to rebound from losing the title to Miesha Tate, via 5th round submission.. Holm a former multiple time World Boxing champion, has 7 knock out wins in MMA and was 3-0 in the octagon prior to the fight with Tate.
Shevchenko like Holm fought for Legacy FC, before signing with he UFC and also comes from a decorated striking background. Shevchenko made and won her debut on short notice with a split decision, upset of former Strikeforce champion Sarha Kaufman. Shevchenko will be looking to rebound from a unanimous decision loss to Amanda Nunes.
