The 2nd attempt, for Raoni Barcelos (9-1) first RFA title defense has been set for June 17, at the Hammond Civic Center in Hammond, Indiana.
The challenger will be Bobby “Wolfman” Moffett (8-1), who’s on a 4 fight win streak. This will be Moffett’s 2nd fight in RFA, having defeated Dan Moret, via unanimous decision at RFA 24. Moffett was raised just 10 miles away from the venue and has 6 of 7 stoppage wins by submission.
Barcelos has been scheduled to defend his title at RFA 36, but due to challenger Landon Vannata missing weight the fight was scrapped. Barcelos has spent a lot of time on the mat between BJJ and Wrestling, but has 5 of 6 stoppage wins by knockout. His last 2 fights have seen Barceolos score a 1st round TKO of Jamal Parks and win his title with a unanimous decision over Ricky Musgrave.
