Stephen Cervantes has pulled from this weekends event and instead Jackson Wink fighter Nick Gonzalez will square off with Force of One’s Gilbert Cuhen.

To refresh, Gonzalez is returning to the cage for the 1st time sine February of 2013. Gonzlaez is 3-1 as a pro with a knockout and two submission win to his credit. Gilbert Cuhen is 2-1 coming off a 1st round knock out of Raul Rosas.

Cervantes has been pulled from the fight due to being suspended by the CSAC (California Stat Athletic Commission) following a May 19th submission loss to Kyle Reyes at Tachi Palace Fights 27. A suspension which will be reportedly up in two weeks. The troubles for Cervantes don’t stop there as taking the fight with Reyes was also a breach of his contract with the Jackson’s MMA Series. Their is all lies a possibility that Cervantes could be fined or suspended by the Pojoaque Commission, for failing to obtain a license.

Jackson’s MMA Series Promoter Ricky Kottenstette said “We hold all fighter’s on the Jackson’s MMA Series to the highest of standards and that a breach of contact will not be tolerated.”

As for about the main event fight Kottenstette said that efforts had been made to see if the CSAC could lift the suspension. When that was impossible Gilbert Cuhen, who had been asking to be apart of the Jackson’s MMA Series, was inserted.
