Vannata to Make Octagon Debut July 13 vs “El Cucuy”
A back injury has force Michael Cheisa has been forced to withdraw from his UFC Fight night 91 bout with Tony “El Cucucy” Ferguson (20-3). Stepping up to fill in is JacksonWink Fighter “Groovy” Landon Vannata (8-0).
Ferguson is the number 3 ranked Lightweight contender, who’s on a 7 fight win streak. During this span, Ferguson has had 5 stoppage wins, with submissions of Mike Rio, Abel Trujillo, Gleison Tibao, and Edson Barboza.
Vannata is a New Jersey native who moved out to the 505 to chase his dream of being world champion.
