Inoue Replaces Kolekar at Invicta FC 18

Unable to obtain a visa India’s Manjit Kolekar has been pulled from Invicta FC 18 and the promotion  has announced that Mizuki Inoue, will now instead be taking on Lynn Alvarez at July 29th.

Japan’s Inoue, is on a 3 fight win streak, that includes a Invicta FC 15 submission of Lacey Schuckman. Inoue who is 2-2 in Invicta has 8 of 11 wins via submission.

Alvarez will be retuning to the cage for the first time since a January 2014 submission of Amber Stautzenberger. Alvarez who has 5 of 6 wins via submission, fought once for Invicta losing via TKO to Carla Esparza at Invicta FC 3.

 

Invicta FC 18 takes place on July 29th at the Kansas City Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Missouri.
