A huge weekend of MMA inside the octagon starts with UFC Fight Night 90, taking place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The whole event will be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass and is headlined by Eddie Alvarez challenging Rafael Dos Anjos for the UFC Lightweight Championship.
RDA is a Brazilian training out of Kings MMA in California, who has won 10 of his last 11. Since taking the title with a unanimous decision win over Anthony Pettis, RDA has defended the belt successfully once, with a 1st round TKO of Donald Cerrone in December of 2015. With a win Alvarez will be the 1st person to hold both the Bellator and UFC titles. Alvarez was the 1st ever and a two time Bellator Lightweight champion. Winner of 6 out of his last 7, Alvarez has won consecutive split decisions over Gilbert Melendez and Anthony Pettis.
