Bellator 160 adds Ovchynnikova vs Nievera, Woman’s Flyweight Bout
The newest addition to August 26th’s Bellator 160 at the Honda Center, is a Woman’s Flyweight bout between Lena “Hunter” Ovchynnikova (11-4) and Jaimelene “Queenie” Nievera (4-1), that will be part of the main card.
Ovchynnikova, who has 8 of 11 wins by submission and is coming off a May split decision win, rebounding from a Bellator 150, unanimous decision loss to Rebecca Ruth. Nievera is on a 3 fight win streak, with a pair of submissions, and a Bellator debut, 3rd round TKO of Stephanie Frausto.
It’s also been made official that Kevin “Baby Slice” Ferguson and Jon “The Tornado” Tamasian will battle in Welterweight bout, that will be both mens pro debuts. Ferguson is 1-0 as an amateur with a Knock out, while Tamasian went 2-0 as an amateur with a decision and TKO win.
