The UFC will be back in Ireland on November 19th with a Welterweight main event of Japan’s Dong Hyun “Stun Gun” Kim (21-3-1), a Judoka, against Iceland’s Gunnar Nelson (15-2-1) a highly regarded Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner.
In August of 2014 Kim suffered a 1st round knock out loss to Tyron Wo
odley, that ended a 4 fight win streak. Kim has bounced back with a pair of wins, submitting Josh Burkman and scoring a 1st round TKO of Dominic Waters.
Nelson who’s 2nd home is Ireland won his first 4 UFC fights before a split decision loss to Rick Story. Nelson, who has 11 submission wins has since scored submission win over Brandon Thatch and Albert Tumenov, which sandwich a unanimous decision loss to Demian Maia.
UFC Fight Night 99 is November 19th at the SSE Arena in Belfast, Ireland.
