Andres “The Bullet” Quinatana (10-2) of Luttrell/Yee MMA has accepted the challenge of heading to Canada, to face Brazilian, Otto Rodrigues for the Hard Knock Fighting Championship Featherweight title, on 2 weeks notice.
Quintana will be looking to rebound from a, May TKO loss to Adrian Diaz, which ended a 10 fight win streak. During that 10 fight win streak Quintana scored 9 of the wins by knockout with 8 of them coming in the first round. Quintana is also a Bellator event and was the only title holder that the now closed down Triple A MMA ever had.
Rio De Janeiro’s, Otto Rodrigues, fights out of the X-gym and is on a 10 fight win streak. Rodrgiues has fought for promotions such as Shooto and Jungle fights. Rodrigues has finished 5 fights all by submission with 4,coming by chokes.
On paper this looks to be a old throw back striker vs. grappler match-up.
HK51 is October 14th at the Markin MacPhail Centre- Canadian Olympic Park, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
