Invicta FC 20 set for Nov. 18th with Two title Bouts
The 20th installment of Invicta Fighting Championships will be on Friday, November 18th, Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Missouri, with a double main event featuring the Bantamweight an Strawweight titles on the line.
In the main event the Invicta FC Bantamweight title will be on the line when Yana “Foxy” Kunitskaya challenges Tonya “Triple Threat” Evinger. Evinger is on a 9 fight win streak, with 3 knock outs, and 3 submissions during this run. Most recently, Evinger defended the title for the 2nd time with a unanimous decision win over Colleen Schneider. Saint Pertersburg, Russia’s Yana Kunitskaya, has 7 of 8 stoppage wins by knock out and has won 7 of her last 8 fight; coming off a 2nd round TKO of Yanan Wu.
The co-main event will have Brail’s Kaline “The Dark Angel” Medeiros challenging Alliance MMA’s Angela “Overkill” Hill for the Invicta FC Strawweight title. Medeiros is on a 5 fight win streak, with wins in Invicta over Alline Serio (tko) and Manjit Kolekar (ud). Hill is 3-0 in Invicta with knockouts of Alida Gray and Stephanie Eggink, and most recently won the 115 lbs. title with a split decision victory over Livia Renata Souza.
Former Invicta FC Atomweight champion Herica Tiburcio will look to end a 2 fight skid when she meets Simona Soukpova of the Czech Republic.
Former Invicta FC title challenger Amber “The Bully” Brown of Fit NHB, moves up 10 lbs. to the strawweight division to tangle with Ashley Yoder of Team Quest.
