Kevin Croom collides with Tatsuya Ando at Shooto 11/12
Luttrell/Yee fighter Kevin Croom “Hard Hitting HillBilly” (16-7) will be heading to Tokyo, Japan, for Shooto, on November 12th, facing Road to UFC, which was the Japanese version of TUF, vet Tatsuya Ando (5-2).
Croom 29, went on a 9 fight win streak from November of 2012 to February of 2014. In his last 3 fights Croom has knocked out Jacob Akin, lost by TKO to undefeated top Russian prospect Rasul Mirzaev, and in April scored a 26 second TKO of Lenny Wheeler. The “Hard Hitting HillBilly” will fight any one any where and that mentality has led him to fight in Mexico, Canada, Kazakhstan, Dagestan, and now on to Japan.
Ando 26, has 4 of his 5 wins by knock out. Ando signed with Shooto after starting his career at 3-1 and has since defeated Ken Hattori (ko) and Yosuke Ebuhara (tko), but is looking to bounce back from being submitted, back in January by Keita Ishibashi.
