A sure to be action filled, Featherweight fight has been announced for Sparta Combat League 57, with JacksonWink Academy’s Henry “Boom Boom” Barahona (2-1) squaring off with Top Notch MMA’s Justin “J-Train” Gonzales (2-0).
Barahona started his martial arts training at Winks gym and then progress to the JacksonWink Academy. As an amateur Barahona went 4-1, with 3 finishes. After a rough start to his pro career, with a decision loss Paris Stanford, “Boom Boom” has scored a 36 second TKO of Kasey Yates and defeated Jerry Sano by decision.
Gonzlaes was born, raised, and fights out of Greely, Colorado. The “J-Train” had a highly successful, undefeated (8-0), amateur run, with 7 knock outs and 1 submission to strikes. Gonzales has fought for SCL 7 times, 5 as an amateur and twice as a pro; defeating Jordan Titoni by decision and submitting Trevor Massey with a choke.
Sparta Combat League 57 is January 38th, at Grizzly Rose in Denver, Colorado.
