Davis-Galvao & Honeycutt-Reiter added to Bellator 166

Bellator has announced a pair of main card additions for December 2nd’s Bellator 166 with at Bantamweight LC Davis meeting Marcos Galvao and Chris Honeycuut faces Ben Reiter at Middleweight.

Davis will be returning to action for the first time since a September 2015, unanimous decision loss to Joe Warren ended a 3 fight win streak. Galvao the former Bellator Bantamweight champion is coming off losing his title and having a 4 fight win streak ended by a unanimous decision loss to Eduardo Dantas. Both fighters impose a brawling striking style, but on the ground Davis is the wrestler, where Galvao employs a more Jiu Jitsu based attack.

Honeycutt has won consecutive decisions over Matt Secor and Mikkel Parlo since moving up to 185 lbs., following his first ever loss, a 1st round knock out to Paul Bradley. Reiter has 7 of his 9 stoppage wins by knock out and is coming off a unanimous decision win over AJ Matthews, rebounding from a Bellator 146 submission loss to Francisco France. These men share similarities in their Boxing and Wrestling based offenses.

Bellator 166 is on December 2nd at the Winstar Worls Casino & Resort in Thackerville, Oklahoma.
