The UFC’s first trip to Canada of 2017, will be on February 19th with UFC Fight Night 105; headlined by a Heavyweight rematch between Former World Champion Junior Dos Danos and Stefan Struve.
These two men met the first time almost 7 years ago. That fight which saw Dos Santos win with a knock out in under a minute. That fight was Struve’s debut in the octagon and Dos Santos’s 2nd time.
JDS has 12 of 14 finishes by knock out, but is only 3-3 in his last 6 fights, coming off a unanimous decision win over Ben Rockwell, who heading into that fight was on a 4 fight win streak.
Struve like JDS is 3-3 in his last 6, but the “Skyscrapper” has won consecutive fights over Antonio Silva (ko) and Daniel Omielanczuk (sub).
UFC Fight Night 105 is gong to take place at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
