Andres Quintana Battles Erick Sanchez at Combate 11

Combate America is one of the fast growing promotions in the MMA landscape. Their February 16th card has added a Featherweight bout pitting one of New Mexico’s top prospects Andres “the Bullet” Quintana against one of Sacramento’s Erick Sanchez.

Quintana a product of Luttrell/Yee MMA, lost his pro debut and then went on a 10 fight win streak, that included 9 consecutive TKO wins. The TKO streak ended in November of 2015, when Quintana took a split decision from Jose Verdugo. The young man from Roswell, NM, who started his combat sports journey in the boxing ring, will be looking to bounce back from a TKO loss to Adrian Diaz.

Team Alpha Males Erick Sanchez has won 6 of his last 7 and is on a 3 fight win streak. During this win streak Sanchez used the rear naked choke to score both of his wins in Combate Americas, defeating Rudy Morales and Mike Segura. In between those wins Sanchez scored his 3rd win by TKO, taking out Ousman Thomas Diagne in the 3rd round of their bout at Bellator 147.

Combate 11 is February 16th in Burbank, California, and seen on UFC Fight Pass.
