The Bomb Factory in Dallas, Texas, played host to the inaugural Legacy Fighting Alliance event, LFA 1; headlined by Legacy Fighting Championship Bantamweight champion Steven “Ocho” Peterson battling Resurrection Fighting Alliance Bantamweight champion Leandro “Pitbull” Higo to become the first Legacy Fighting Alliance Bantamweight champion.

Peterson fought 11 times for Legacy FC, going 8-3 and winning the Legacy FC Bantamweight title with a 3rd round TKO of Enrique Vazquez at LFC 56. Higo went 3-0 in RFA finishing all 3 opponents, including winning the RFA title at RFA 37, submitting Joey Miolla.
