KOTC: GroundBreaking Features Nguyen vs. Nguyen 2 with Atomweight title on the line

May 6, at the Soboba Casino, Bi “Killger Bee” Nguyen will challenge Andy “The CrAsian” Ngyuen for the KOTC women’s Atomweight (105 lbs.) title.

This fight is a rematch as it was Andy that welcomed Bi to the pro ranks at Legacy FC 57, June 1^st pf 2016. A fight that saw Bi take a unanimous decision victory. Bi was the faster of the two on the feet and controlled the striking. Andy got Bi to the ground in the 3^rd and had Bi’s back in the round but was unable to find the submission.

Andy a member pf the Karate Mafia, a fight prior defeated Elane Santiago to win the KOTC women’s Atomweight title. Following the loss to Bi, Andy returned to KOTC, successfully defending her title, with a 4^th round TKO of Cassie Robb. Andy closed out 2016 in Japan, submitting Miyu Yamamoto, with an armbar, at Rizin 4.

Bi trains at both the JacksonWink Academy and the 4oz fight club. 6 months after her debut, Bi got back in the cage, taking a unanimous decision from Katie Saull and then 4 weeks later took a split decision from Jayme Hinshaw at KOTC: New Blood.
