LFA will be back at the Houston Arena Theatre , in Houston, TX, on June 23rd, with LFA 14. The main and co-main event will both be title bouts, with the inaugural LFA Middleweight & Flyweight champions being crowned.

Battling for the LFA Middleweight title will be undefeated Eryck Anders (7-0) of Alabama & Louisiana’s Brendan Allen (7-1) . Sanders played linebacker in college and was part of a  national championship as a member of the Alabama Crimson Tide, football team. Sanders has 6 of 7 wins by stoppage and his last 3 have all come by TKO, including defeating Jon Kirk at LFA 6. Win or Loose, Allen has never been to the decision and is on a 5 fight win streak. During this win streak Allen has scored 3 rear naked chokes in a row, then a Keylock, and is coming off a LFA 3 TKO of Jon Kirk.

The war for the LFA Flyweight title will be contested between undefeated fighters, Roberto “Little Fury” Sanchez (6-0) of Houston, TX, & , Jerome “The Renegade” Rivera (7-0) of Santa Fe, NM. Sanchez defeated Jacob Silva by unanimous decision in his pro debut and has since submitted everyone who’s entered the cage with him. Coming of a LFA 7 win over Klayton Mai, Sanchez has rear raked choked his last 4 opponents. Rivera won his first 4 pro fights by submission and then following a unanimous decision win over Jesus Urbina took about 16 months off from fighting. In February Rivera returned to the cage submitting, Bellator and Legacy FC vet, Saul Elizondo. This led to the call to join LFA and a promotional debut, unanimous decision win, just 4 weeks ago over Zac Riley. After two fights up at Bantamweight, Rivera will return to Flyweight where he spent his amateur career and was at for his first 5 professional fights.

riveraI was able to attain a quote from Jerome Rivera about the upcoming fight “I’m excited to compete against Roberto, who many consider to be one of the top Flyweights in LFA. It’s an honor to compete for the Inaugural Title. Roberto and I are both undefeated so this is going to be a fight with alot at stake knowing one of us will be the first ever Champ of LFA. I’ll be ready come June 23rd to win that Title for all of family, friends, and fans.”
