Manuwa & Oezdemir to Collide at UFC 214
Powerful Light Heavyweight strikers Jimi Manuwa (17-2) & Volkan Oezdemir (14-1) will collide at UFC 214.
On 4 fight win streak, Oezdemir made his short notice, octagon debut in February, taking a split decision from Ovince St. Preux. The win catapulted Oezdemir to number 5 in the divisions contender rankings. Oezdemir than validated his ranking with a 28 second TKO of previous 4-0 in the UFC, Misha Cirkunov, this past Sunday in Stockholm.
Manuwa the number 3 ranked contender hailing from Morden, England. Nicknamed “Poster Boy”, his last two fights have been pictured perfect destructions. In his last 2 fights Manuwa has scored his 14th & 15th wins by knockout stopping Ovince St. Preux this past October, and Corey Anderson in mid march.
