Dantas-Caldwell & Straus- Sanchez set for Bellator 184
Bellator MMA has announced Dantas-Caldwell take two. Originally scheduled to meet at Bellator 177, a Darrion Cadlwell injury derailed those plans. Caldwell challenging Danatas for the Bellator Bantamweight title will headline Bellator 184.
Dantas is a lengthy technical striker, who works behind his jab, who’s on a 4 fight win streak coming off defeating Higo by split decision at Bellator 177. Caldwell won his first 8 fights, before being submitted by a Joe Taimanglo guillotine choke. Caldwell last fought at Bellator 167, avenging the loss with a unanimous decision win.
The co-main event will see former Bellator Featherweight champion Daniel Straus (24-7) of American Top Team against Emmanuel “El Matador” Sanchez (15-3) of Roufusport, who’s won consecutive decisions over Georgi Karakhyan and Marcos Galvao.
Bellator 184 is on October 6th, in Thackerville Oklahoma, at the Winstar World Casino.
