First 2 Bouts Official for Jackson’s MMA Series XXIII

Undefeated, Josh Moreno (3-0) will once again be in the Jackson’s MAM Series spotlight headlining the October 14th event at the Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino.

Ricky Konttenstette, the head man at the Jackson’s MMA Series has confirmed Jackson’s MMA Series XXIII, will be headlined by Moreno & Texas’s Ricardo Guerro (6-2).

Moreno has entered the cage 3 times as a pro and three times has won by TKO. A big over had put Mike Cook down in the first round in Moreno’s pro debut. At Jackson’s MMA Series XX, Moreno used sprawl and brawl to stop Sonny Yohn in the 2nd round. In the main event of Jackson’s MMA Series XXI, Moreno dissected Omar Acosta with leg kicks and found the finish with body shots.

Guerro started off his pro run 4-0 and is since 2-2 or 2-3 depending where you look. Guerro has all 6 his win by stoppage 3 submissions, all variations of chokes and 3 TKO’s. Tapology has Guerro coming off back to back decision losses to Randy McCarty, which proceed consecutive TKO wins.

Also official for the pro side of the card is Ernesto Salvidrez of Pat Holmes Boxing/ Santa Fe Fitness & MMA vs. Roy “Hot Sauce” Saucedo of Force of One Martial Arts from Clovis. Salvidrez scored a 1st round TKO of Rene Bustamante, in his pro debut at Jackson’s MMA Series XXI. Salvidrez a 2-time state wrstling champion,  is also 1-0 as a pro Boxer. Saucedo went 8-2 as an amateur according to Tapology and last fought in April of of 2016, making a victorious pro debut submitting Nicholas Webb.
