King of the Cage will be back in southern Colorado, September 16th, presenting KOTC: El Diablo.
The main event will see Force of One’s Jamie Calloway heading into enemy territory for his pro debut opposite, undefeated Kevin Wirth (3-0) of Durango Martial Arts. Colvis NM’s, Calloway went undefeated at 4-0 as an amateur, ending his amateur run submitting Fernando Sanchez. Durango’s, Wirth won his pro debut submitting Omar Benjar and has continued his winning ways with decision victories over Nick Gonzalez and Cristobal Chavez.
In other pro action at 125 lbs. Joey Tervino of Impulse MMA , makes his long awaited pro debut, when he squares off with Levi Lucero of Lookout PFS. Also at 125 lbs. Impulse MMA’s Grant Hobbs (4-1-1) returns to action against an opponent to be named.
The amateur card is sure to be stacked with names like Nikko Nathan, Nate Selter, Holli Salazar, John Brown, Alex Jones, David Archuleta, Seth Tate, and Anthony Chavez having been mentioned. The feature amateur fight will see Fit NHB’s Shania Arrendando colliding with Impulse MMA’s Tabitha Tervino in a 110 lbs. scrap.
