Bellator 186 Will See crowning of Inaugural Women’s Flyweight champion
A 2nd title fight has been announced for Bellator MMA’s, November trip to Penn State, will see a rematch determine the first ever Bellator women’s flyweight champion.
At Bellator 186 in December 2016, Ilima-Lie MacFarlane took a unanimous decision from Emily Ducote. Undefeated at 6-0 Ilima MacFarlane, has 4 finishes, 3 by submission including an armbar of Jessica Middleton at Bellator 178. Emily Ducote is 6-2 with a 50 % finishing rate. Ducote has won consecutive fights, submitting Katie collins and defeating Jessica Middleton by unanimous decision.
Additionally heavy handed Bellator vet Saad Awad, coming off a decision win over Ryan Quinn, has been matched up with Zach Freeman, who’s coming off a .24 second submission of highly touted prospect Aaron Pico.
Bellator 186 takes place Nov. 3 at Bryce Jordan Center on Penn State’s campus in University Park, Pennsylvania.
