Stephen Cervantes accepts September title fight in Canada
The search for championship glory will lead Stephen Cervantes North to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, as he’ll face undefeated Brad Karona in the feature title fight of Mercenary Combat League 1.

Cervantes is returning to 135 lbs., where he’s 3-1, for the first time in over a year. Cervantes who wrestled at west mesa in high school, is coming off a decision loss to Bellator 187 headliner Jeremiah Labiano.
Fighting out of the Winnipeg Academy of Mixed Martial Arts, Brad Katona (5-0) is a karate black belt and was a member of the Canadian Nation Boxing Team. Katona has 3 finishes, including submitting previously undefeated Austin Ryan in his last outing.
