The Magician wants to meet Magic at UFC Fight Night 120

Former two time UFC title challenger John “The Magician” Dodson (19-8) has been begging for a opponent to say yes and the wait appears to have ended, according to twitter.

Since a second loss to Demetrious Johnson ended a 3 fight win streak and forced the JacksonWink fighter up to Bantamweight, Dodson has looked great. Dodson stopped Manny Gamburyan in 47 seconds, then lost a razor thin split decision to Jon Lineker, and has rebounded with a deselection of former WEC champion Eddie Wineland.

Moraes (18-5) is a former WSOF champion, who’s has relocated from Brazil to New Jersey, where he train under Mark Henry and Ricardo Almeida. Moraes is coming off a octagon debut split decision loss to Raphael Assuncao, ending a 13 fight win streak. Moraes is also currently serving as part of the coaching staff for Team Eddie Alvarez on TUF 26.

Dodson has 11 of his 19 win by finish, with 9 by knock outs, while Moraes has 8 knock outs in 13 finishes.

UFC Fight Night 120 is November 11 at the Ted Constant Convocation in Norfolk, Virginia.
