Battle for the Brave Gets New Headliner

In Combat Sports the card is always subject to change. Jason Sanchez (10-0) vs. Ray Ximenez (16-1) will no longer headline Legacy Promotions Battle for the Brave, instead Sanchez will square off with Raeese Aleem (10-0).

Both fighters come in with identical 10-0 records. Albuquerque’s Sanchez, almost 23 years old, with 6 of his 10 wins by knock out, including his last three wins over Juan Carlos Guilen, Sergio Najera, and Gene Perez. Aleem a 27 year ole, from Las Vegas, Nevada who has 7 wins by decision, including twice defeating Stephon McIntyre who has lost to Angelo Leo and Jose Osorio in the Legacy Promotions ring. Aleem has been said to have has nearly 200 amateur bouts.

The co-main event is also official, with Atrisco Boxing’s undefeated Brian “La Bala” Mendoza, who has two-thirds of his wins by knock out, against Corpus Christi, Texas’s John David Charles, who lost to Josh “Pitbull” Torres in April.

Battle for the Brave is November 11, at the Manuel Lujan Building on the Expo New Mexico grounds. Tickets are available here, doors open at 5 pm MT with the first bell at 6 pm MT. The event will also be watchable on the Fite app and on ProView Networks.
