Albuquerque, New Mexico, Manuel Lujan Complex, Legacy Boxing Promotions presents a 8 fight card “”. The main event, Albuquerque’s own undefeated Jason Sanchez opposing Stephon McIntyre from Jonesboro, Georgia.

Sanchez, almost 23 years old, has 6 of his 10 wins by knock out, including his last three. McIntyre 25, has 42 pro bouts under his belt, making it to the decision in 35 of them. The co-Main event has Rio Rancho’s undefeated Brian “La Bala” Mendoza from Atrisco Boxing against Corpus Christi, Texas’s John David Charles. Albuquerque’s Undefeated Matthew “Diamond Boy” Griego from Atrisco Boxing faces 64 fight vet Alejandro Moreno from Chihuahua, Mexico. Albuquerque’s Cristian “El Pumpa” Cabral from Warrior Boxing faces Bakersfield, California’s Tavorus Teague. Albuquerque’s undefeated Matthew Esquible meets Shattuck, Oklahoma’s Christopher Russell. Albuquerque’s Cristian Castillo from Perez Boxing squared off with Roswell’s Timothy Ruiz. Albuquerque’s Ronnie Baca faces Oklahoma City’s Anthony Hill.  Getting the card started is the lone female contest has Albuquerque’s Jordanne “OMG” Garcia from Power and Glory Boxing against Bosque Farms Katie “Dynamite” Ramirez from Rosales Karate & KickBoxing.

140: Cristian Castillo (1-0) vs. Timothy Ruiz (1-0) was canceled at the last moment, Ruiz being disqualified for medical reasons.

Fight 1- Jordanne Garcia wore down Katie Ramirez with power shots, in a contest mainly contested in close quarters. Garcia took the first 3 Rds, started to tire the 4th but saw the final bell in taking the unanimous decision.

Fight 2- Ronnie Baca vs Anthony Hill. Baca felt out round 1 behind his jab.  In round 2 Baca went to work on Hills body and caused a cut over Hill’s left eye. Rounds 3 & 4 saw Baca scoring with hooks for both sides, en route to a majority decision win.

Fight 3- Esquible & Russell come out swinging big. Russell strikes first gets a knockdown from a right cross. Esquible hurt Russell attacking a right uppercut sends Esquible down but this time it’s not called a knockdown. Both swinging Esquible lands a huge left hook for a come from behind knockout win in rd 1.

Fight 4- Cristian Cabral vs Tavorus Teague. Cristian Cabral brought the pressure, not allowing Teague to land anything of substantial power. El Puma worked great in the pocket throwing heavy combinations keeping Teague on his back foot for againstvthe ropes en route to a unanimous decision.

Fight 5- Matt Griego vs Alejandro Moreno. Griego scores off his jab in round 1. Griego followed up in the 2nd by implementing his right cross. Round 3 Griego pressured Moreno against the ropes  landing big left hooks. Moreno corner throws in the towel between rounds 3 & 4.

Fight 6- Brian Mendoza vs John David Charles. Mendoza jabbed heavy in round 1, adding hard single shot counter punches. Mendoza found his right cross in rd 2, scoring a knockdown off a pair of right hooks to the body. Early in the third Mendoza gets another knockdown off a pair of rights to the body. Rocky Burke stops the fight after the third knockdown that was scored by a left hook to the body.

Fight 7- Main event Jason Sanchez vs Stephon McIntyre. Sanchez jabbed his way in then lit McIntyre up with hooks to the body in rd 1. Round two sanchez continued his work rate but got stunned by a couples hooks. Sanchez picked up the volume and went back to his body attack in round 3. Sanchez would put McIntyre on the ropes land his body shots and coming over the top to finish the combinations. Left uppercut from McIntyre stuns Sanchez but McIntyre fails to follow up. The volume of sanchez leads to a unanimous decision win.
